This policy describes how DashCommerce (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the website at dashcommerce.dev (the “Site”) or join our product waitlist. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site or submit your email.

Information we collect
Waitlist. If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you provide.
When our waitlist backend is configured, we may also store a short source label (for example, which page referred you), a browser user-agent string for basic abuse prevention, and a timestamp. If the waitlist database is not configured in a given environment, we may log the submission for debugging without durable storage.
Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure may automatically record information such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, request timestamps, and HTTP referrer headers. We use this to operate the Site, secure our systems, and understand aggregate traffic patterns.
Cookies and local storage. We use only essential cookies or storage needed for the Site to function (for example, security or session state). We do not use third-party advertising cookies on this Site.
How we use information
- To respond to waitlist signups and send product-related updates you have opted into.
- To protect the Site and our users from abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions)
Where required, we rely on your consent for waitlist marketing emails (where you have opted in), and on legitimate interests to secure the Site, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate usage, balanced against your rights.
Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that process data on our behalf (for example, hosting, database, or email delivery providers) under contracts that require appropriate safeguards and use only for the purposes we specify.
Retention
We keep waitlist data until you ask us to delete it, you unsubscribe from relevant communications, or we no longer need it for the purposes described above, unless a longer period is required by law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
If you access the Site from outside the country where our servers or providers are located, your information may be processed in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@dashcommerce.dev . You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
California residents
California law may grant you additional rights regarding personal information, including the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” (we do not sell personal information as commonly defined by California law). To submit a request, email hello@dashcommerce.dev .
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may be communicated through additional notice where appropriate.
